Kristin Chapman is a writer, speaker, and management consultant currently living in Atlanta, Georgia. She writes and speaks about neurodiversity, creativity, and the benefits of doing life differently.

After spending 20 years as a management consultant, Kristin left the corporate world to volunteer and make more time for writing and researching her first book, The Genius Gap.

Over the last few years, she substitute taught in-elementary, middle, and high schools, served as a board member and board chair at Girls on the Run Atlanta, coached an Odyssey of the Mind team, a soccer team, Girls on the Run teams, and managed a youth sports team. One thing that became very clear to Kristin throughout all of those experiences was that we have a very limited view of smart and , because of this, we are squandering an incredible amount of talent. Embracing different kinds of smart and championing the diversity of intelligence is crucial in a world where alternative intelligence is becoming more and more impactful.

Kristin and her husband, Scott, have two daughters and a chocolate lab named Moby. Learn more by visiting http://www.kristinachapman.com or find Kristin on Instagram or X.
